Evolution will take a natural course, so work now to create a better environment for all life on earth.

All challenges we face boil down to three categories:

Nature, Justice and Peace

As community all problems can be solved IF WE VALUE these three things:

COMPASSION, TRUTH AND COOPERATION

Simple, right? It’s not magical thinking. It’s about getting rid of what doesn’t work. Thinking ahead.

The aim is to sustain life as a community, whether as a planetary being, a species, or even a subgroup of that species, rather than as an individual. Life is an ongoing sorting process.   This does not remove the individual rights or responsibility for the improvement or maintenance of the system, but first we must identify the scope of the community. I suggest we need to identify Earth as our community, our mother or mothership, and give her and her ecosystems the care, repair and respect that have been lacking for a very long time. And each other.

Self-governance by a community includes giving voice to all members, even those who are unable to speak. We would have to assign representation for those members and disburse justice equitably on their behalf; we must speak for the forests, the oceans, the mountains, the tar pits, the rivers, the birds, the endangered systems.

Once we have identified as a COMMUNITY we can achieve AGREEMENT, COMMITMENT TO THE AGREEMENT and AGREE TO REVISE THAT AGREEMENT WHEN IT DOESN’T WORK FOR THE GREATER GOOD OF ALL.

Humans must take the upper hand. How do we all agree about what is compassionate, truthful?

Truth, Education, Communication and Science are our friends. How do we define our basic needs? Actually through science, using trial and error. When we find something that doesn’t work, we can abandon it and try something else. We can document what is killing us and then correct ourselves. We already do agree on many common values.

Clean Air. We value it because we need it. It’s a basic need.

Time.  We value standardization because we need it. It’s a basic need.

The four directions? Again, standardization is agreement.

Informed choice? To improve our odds of survival, information is a basic need.

Fairness?  Elections and laws fill a basic need and legitimize a community agreement.

Communication? Exploration? Technology? Research? Discovery? Archives? Systems and Infrastructure? All necessary for our ability to survive. We do not need to re-invent the wheel, just adapt it to our needs.

The framers of our Constitution set the framework of our Republic to represent our needs to various levels of government and to guard against foreign influence. It was written to further the progress of the business interests of a special group of affluent men, not the working class of the future. The people recognized we needed individual protections from an overpowering government.  In less than 200 years those rights have eroded, our conventions have been usurped by multinational corporations, and our elections are bought. Foreign and domestic conspirators access our private lives while encouraging us to support never-ending wars for profit without regard for life of any kind. We are experiencing the destabilization and destruction of our planet. There is no action for peace. There is no voice for the forests. There is no justice for the poor. There are lives in the balance. We will cease to exist ourselves if this continues.  It is time to evolve or face extinction.

There should be nothing stopping us as a planetary community from covering all basic needs of everyone on earth. There should be nothing stopping us from rejecting the rape of our mother for personal profit, there should be nothing stopping us from giving everyone the right to contribute to the whole and there should be nothing stopping us from assembling to discuss the possibilities of a peaceful and beautiful world of cooperation and equal justice, where everyone has the right to work and play and sing and pursue their own health and happiness. Where everyone contributes.
